However, in the summer, this capacity can be increased to 250 guests, with blessings taking place on the lawn. Milton End Farm

This idyllic old dairy farm has been looked after by the same family for five generations, and their continued love and care for the buildings and their surroundings is clear for all to see. Milton End Farm sits almost organically between picturesque fields and sweeping woodlands, near to the River Severn. Making it ideally situated for breathtaking outdoor portraits.

The barn is one of the newest wedding venues in the Cotswolds, and this exclusive-use space has already proven hugely popular with the couples of Gloucestershire. As with some Gloucestershire wedding venues, this Cotswolds barn is not licenced for civil ceremonies. However, their extensive gardens filled with sumptuous seasonal flowers make the ideal place for a summer blessing. Those who do marry here are part of an exclusive club, as this family-run venue only hosts 30 weddings a year. The 18th century farm and barns are overflowing with character and country calm. The farm has a capacity of up to 150 guests, and weddings normally take place over a 3 or 4-day period. Allowing you and your loved ones plenty of time to relax, and explore the 40 acres of private land available exclusively to you during your stay. And speaking of stays, there is an adorable newly-wed’s cottage available on-site, mere moments way from the venue itself. The perfect place for preparations and jubilation.

The Barn at Berkeley

Full of distinctive charm and character, The Barn at Berkeley is in the very heart of Gloucestershire countryside, and stands as one of the finest stone barn wedding venues in the Cotswolds. It was lovingly restored recently, and now delivers the perfect balance of old world charm, spacious surroundings and chic detailing.

The Barn at Berkeley benefits from being a licensed venue for Civil Ceremonies, and has two beautiful locations for you to exchange your vows. Either inside The Loft, a dedicated ceremony space with statement vaulted ceilings. Or outside in the stone-walled garden, a picturesque and utterly tranquil place to say ‘I do’.

Following your ceremony, you can choose to toast your nuptials surrounded by the natural delights of the carefully manicured garden. Or take your celebrations inside, and enjoy the relaxed, yet stylish Parlour room – an intimate reception space. For the wedding breakfast, and larger drinks receptions, The Barn provides the perfect setting. With its roaring open fire, flagstone floor and original stone walls, your guests cannot fail to be impressed. And you’ll have space enough for up to 150 seated in this stunning room, with area left over for a large dance floor.

Great Tythe Barn

Tucked away in rural Gloucestershire lies the Great Tythe Barn, a classically English gem of a wedding venue situated on over 200 acres of private land. This restored stone and oak barn features much of its original detailing, such as the exposed walls and beams.
