Located in North Cotswolds, within 120 acres of private farmland, Norton Grounds fulfils every fantasy of a countryside loving couple. Offering that most desirable mix of rustic and contemporary in its decor, while never forgetting to celebrate the stunning scenery it’s blessed with all around. Every room is filled with light via huge wooden framed windows, allowing couples to feel connected to the outside, even during the cooler months.
The barn itself is spacious, yet one of the more intimate wedding venues in the Cotswolds. With a capacity of up to 120 guests permitted for civil ceremonies in the 18th century Stone Threshing Barn. However, in the summer, this capacity can be increased to 250 guests, with blessings taking place on the lawn. There is also a large, chic marquee which is more than suitable for a celebration of this size.
This idyllic old dairy farm has been looked after by the same family for five generations, and their continued love and care for the buildings and their surroundings is clear for all to see. Milton End Farm sits almost organically between picturesque fields and sweeping woodlands, near to the River Severn. Making it ideally situated for breathtaking outdoor portraits.
The barn is one of the newest wedding venues in the Cotswolds, and this exclusive-use space has already proven hugely popular with the couples of Gloucestershire. All of whom have loved the very personal approach the team take to each celebration, making sure every wedding feels unique. Be it a micro-wedding of 25, or a lavish affair of 200.
Their pretty barn space can be effortlessly transformed into any style, or size of celebration. Weather depending, you have the option to marry in either the private gardens of Saxon Barn, or in the barn itself. Which has a capacity of up to 85, making it one of the more intimate Cotswolds barn wedding venues. And also one of the most enchanting, with a look and feel that evokes the very essence of a countryside wedding.
One of the major things we love about The Wool Barn, is that they are a blank canvas venue. Meaning they encourage their couples to get creative with their space, and produce a wedding that feels unique. And what a fantastic space to do it in! This 16th century barn is endlessly photogenic, with a rustic, charming interior that cannot fail to create a romantic backdrop to your reception.
As with some Gloucestershire wedding venues, this Cotswolds barn is not licenced for civil ceremonies. However, their extensive gardens filled with sumptuous seasonal flowers make the ideal place for a summer blessing. And once you’d ‘tied the knot’, you’ll be able to explore those gorgeous gardens with your wedding photographer, and capture some stunning portraits. While your loved ones find their seats in the whimsical old barn, or enjoy a cocktail in the warm afternoon sun.
You also have the opportunity to make your celebration a long wedding weekend, as The Wool Barn is located within the grounds of the Frampton Court estate. A palatial country retreat that can accommodate up to 22 guests across its two very grand countryside dwellings.
This 18th century grain barn is located in the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden. And unlike some other barn wedding venues in the Cotswolds, Mickleton Hills Farm benefits from being licenced to hold civil ceremonies. Those who do marry here are part of an exclusive club, as this family-run venue only hosts 30 weddings a year. Meaning your celebration will be planned, and looked after with the upmost care and attention.
The 18th century farm and barns are overflowing with character and country calm. With exposed beams, walls, and magical views of the never-ending countryside all providing the perfect backdrop to every big day moment. The farm has a capacity of up to 150 guests, and weddings normally take place over a 3 or 4-day period. Allowing you and your loved ones plenty of time to relax, and explore the 40 acres of private land available exclusively to you during your stay. And speaking of stays, there is an adorable newly-wed’s cottage available on-site, mere moments way from the venue itself. The perfect place for preparations and jubilation.
Full of distinctive charm and character, The Barn at Berkeley is in the very heart of Gloucestershire countryside, and stands as one of the finest stone barn wedding venues in the Cotswolds. It was lovingly restored recently, and now delivers the perfect balance of old world charm, spacious surroundings and chic detailing.
The Barn at Berkeley benefits from being a licensed venue for Civil Ceremonies, and has two beautiful locations for you to exchange your vows. Either inside The Loft, a dedicated ceremony space with statement vaulted ceilings. Or outside in the stone-walled garden, a picturesque and utterly tranquil place to say ‘I do’.
Following your ceremony, you can choose to toast your nuptials surrounded by the natural delights of the carefully manicured garden. Or take your celebrations inside, and enjoy the relaxed, yet stylish Parlour room – an intimate reception space. For the wedding breakfast, and larger drinks receptions, The Barn provides the perfect setting. With its roaring open fire, flagstone floor and original stone walls, your guests cannot fail to be impressed. And you’ll have space enough for up to 150 seated in this stunning room, with area left over for a large dance floor.
Tucked away in rural Gloucestershire lies the Great Tythe Barn, a classically English gem of a wedding venue situated on over 200 acres of private land. This restored stone and oak barn features much of its original detailing, such as the exposed walls and beams. Which have been artfully combined with modern conveniences like mood lighting, grand glass doors and underfloor heating.
Within the grounds of Great Tythe Barn you’ll find 10 holiday cottages, and 12 B&B rooms, all centred around the venue’s charming country courtyard. This extensive amount of accommodation means the marrying couple and up to 90 guests can stay on-site in complete comfort and style.
Elsewhere on the grounds, you’ll discover a delightful gazebo, the spot for dreamy outdoor blessings and elegant civil ceremonies. There is also the option of having an indoor ceremony in the Tythe House Orangery. A beautiful space that can accommodate up to 200 guests.
